Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AI Text Formatter at https://aitxtformatter.comand the text-cleaning tool we provide (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service is a free, browser-based utility that takes text you paste in and returns a cleaned version suitable for platforms such as Upwork, LinkedIn, and email. Cleaning is performed by a serverless function; the Service does not store your input or your output (see our Privacy Policy).

2. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service. The text you produce with the Service is yours to use freely, including for commercial purposes such as client proposals, marketing posts, and emails. We claim no rights in the text you paste in or the cleaned text we return to you.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that violates the rights of others;
• Submit content that contains malware, exploit code, or attempts to interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, headless drivers) to access the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on it, or to circumvent any rate limits or technical protections;
• Reproduce, resell, sublicense, or rebrand the Service itself, or create a competing product based on its source code;
• Use the Service in any way that would violate applicable laws or the terms of the platforms where you publish the resulting text (for example, the terms of Upwork, LinkedIn, or your email provider).

4. Your content and responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you paste into the Service and for the resulting text you publish elsewhere. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personally identifying information. By using the Service you represent that you have the right to process that content and that the content does not violate these Terms.

5. AI services disclaimer

AI Text Formatter is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, or any other AI provider. References to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar product names are descriptive only and remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and copy, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense and its partners. Advertisers and ad networks are third parties; we are not responsible for the content of their ads. Use of advertising cookies is governed by your choice in our cookie consent banner and by our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL AI TEXT FORMATTER, ITS OPERATORS, OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Text Formatterand its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 4–10 and 13) will survive.

12. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also revise these Terms; the revised version takes effect when posted. If a change is material we will update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Pakistan’s place of establishment, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
